Tennis Social
At Blackrock we like to play tennis and socialize as well! Our social tennis nights run every Tuesday evening from 7pm–10pm for the men and from 8pm -10pm on a Wednesday for the ladies.
There is also a ladies social morning on a Thursday from 9am–11am. All standards are welcome, so come along and enjoy the tennis (and the bar after the evening sessions).
We hold team tennis events two to three times a year and these have proven very popular in the past. There are also regular American tournaments, pub quizzes and other music/dance evenings in the club bar and function room. Our major annual social event is the “At Home” evening in September which marks the end of the Club Championships.
These events are organized by the voluntary Social Committee. Please check the calendar of events on the website for upcoming social activities and members are welcome to contact the committee regarding any of these. Suggestions are always welcome!
