Junior Tennis
We are looking forward to an active, fun filled 2011 in the Junior tennis section. Here’s hoping it will be as good as last year and that everyone will partake and enjoy the forthcoming events.
Notices regarding all Junior events will be posted on the Junior Tennis Section on this Website and on the Junior Notice Boards inside and outside the Tennis Pavilion, so make sure to check regularly!
2011 JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS CALENDAR POSTED ON JUNIOR NOTICE BOARD: This is a great opportunity to practice what is taught at coaching and developing our Junior's. We encourage our Junior's to partake in some of these tournaments, entry forms can be found on the leinstertennis website.

JUNIOR LEAGUES
Blackrock enters teams in U12, U13, U14, U16 and U17 leagues. These leagues take place at different times during the year, so keep an eye on website and notice boards and get your name down if you would like to be considered for one of the teams.
COACHING FOR JUNIORS
Mon., Fri., Sat. and Sun.
Our coaches are Dave Cooney (086 8749704) and Lesley O’Halloran (086 8135057) have been running coaching lessons all year. They have been a great success and the children enjoy them immensely. For Private lessons please contact Dave or Lesley between the hours of 9:30am - 9pm please, directly with your coaching/assessment queries. They also run Easter and Summer Tennis Camps look out for dates of the notice board.
FUN TENNIS
A popular annual event is the Fun Tennis. The juniors love the fun tennis and we are continuing to run it in 2011.
Marcus Meldon and Sarah Finlay along with their helpers organise and supervise all juniors regularly on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, mid terms, Easter and during the summer months. Kids of all ages can take part - keep an eye on the junior section of club website and notice boards for details. (€3 euro for 1.5 hours.)
TEEN TENNIS
Teen Tennis takes place every Sunday from 5pm-6.30pm for all juniors from 2nd year and upwards.
This is supervised by one of the members of the JR Committee and there is no charge.
CLUB JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP usually held last two weeks of August. Information given closer to date.
