Tennis Club
The Tennis Section at Blackrock Bowling and Tennis Club has three active playing parts - Mens, Ladies and Juniors. Each section is involved in encouraging all levels of play from league competition to social.
The Club takes part in the DLTC leagues in both Summer and Winter, as well as local competitions.
Social Tennis is played on Wednesday nights for Ladies between 8pm amd 10pm and for the Men on Tuesdays between 8pm and 10pm - new members are always welcomed!
The club has recently invested in the refurbishment of our 4 courts - completed in January 2010.

Tennis Pavilion care
As you may be aware both doors to the tennis pavilion were recently damaged at great expense to the club.
If we all take note of the following instructions the risk of this happening again should be reduced.
Ensure that the pavilion door(s) are kept closed at all times.
Under no circumstances should the door(s) be propped or wedged open.
If you have juniors in your company and they use the pavilion please make sure they observe the points noted above

Membership Renewals 2012
Renewal notices and invoices will be sent by e mail (and by post in certain instances) at the end of November for the year January 2012- January 2013
Reminders will issue by e-mail and text message.
Club Rule 15 requires that Subscriptions be received before February 10th 2012, as sanctions will apply after that date.
However, payment before that date would be appreciated to enable your Club to function and to plan properly for the year ahead.

Junior Tennis
We are looking forward to an active, fun filled 2011 in the Junior tennis section. Here’s hoping it will be as good as last year and that everyone will partake and enjoy the forthcoming events.
Tennis Social
At Blackrock we like to play tennis and socialize as well! Our social tennis nights run every Tuesday evening from 7pm–10pm for the men and from 8pm -10pm on a Wednesday for the ladies.
